How can they review that tackle and call it a penalty? That sht needs to stop. You can't even get near a player w out the calling penalties in the box. Also the yellow on the contact when he hit the goalie. What does the ref expect him to do when they're both going for the ball, someone's gonna take contact. Doesn't make any sense and they need to let them play the game. None of those little tit for tat fouls are called in bundesligsa.

That was not a penalty and whats worse is that the rest of the game that guy was in the refs ear like he had anything to complain about. Weak refs ruining this game. MLS seems to hate RBNY its not fun to watch MLS anymore really considering leaving especially if Americans are going to Europe to play anyways… MLS has some work to do! If its just this crap over and over why pay to be utterly pissed for two hours?
i’m honestly starting to feel bad for red bulls fans. based off the commentary it seems as though you guys have so many shots but never the finish. i imagine it’s getting incredibly frustrating to watch your team get into the 18 and then whip a shot that goes 20 feet wide of the goal, making all that was created up until that point useless.

I’m a Union fan and I’m happy that we got the win, but that was no penalty at all. Carranza should’ve got booked for diving and the ref shouldn’t have had to look at that play for too long to know it wasn’t a pen. Granted New York couldn’t capitalize on their chances, but this game realistically should have been 0-0

The penalty desicion was no clear mistake. I don't really know why the referee had to look at it again, because the Red Bull clearly hold the Union player. That is a reason to give a penalty

I feel like I’m watching the same game with the same script every week: tons of wasted chances, toothless in front of net and Barlow somehow seeing the field despite being utterly useless. And yea, Philly got their goal off an incredibly soft pen that shouldn’t have been given, but we didn’t capitalize when we needed to as per usual, and it unsurprisingly came back to bite us. We’ve been nothing short of a joke this season, not to mention we have the derby next week, and unless something miraculous happens over the next seven days (i.e. firing Struber), New York is gonna be blue come next Saturday night. This is well and truly the most pathetic, cowardly and embarrassing New York Red Bulls side I’ve ever seen.
